Cyber Defenders Institute (CDI) LANL is pleased to announce a new summer workshop for Challenge students that will be held in conjunction with the 2003 Summer Teacher Institute at San Juan College in Farmington, NM, from July 6 - 18, 2003. The 2003 Cyber-Defenders Institute (CDI) is a new program for high school Challenge students in which students will complete a cyber-security project under the direction of a LANL cyber-security professional and will learn valuable computer skills such as C++ and/or C programming, UNIX, project management, cyber-security analysis, network administration, and research. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to be employed by LANL during the summer of 2004 (or upon graduation from high school) in the College Cyber-Defenders program.
