This project is entered into the New Mexico Adventures in Supercomputing Challenge. The topic is "Genetics and The Likelihood of Disease." For this project we researched the causes and genes that are involved in different diseases.

The disease that we chose was breast cancer because we wanted to model a hereditary disease. Next we had to develop a mathematical equation to model the risk rate of developing breast cancer. Then all the information was put into the agent-based computer program StarLogo. In this program you set all the different factors for your environment and have total control of what happens in it.
